The project consist of two main buildings that creates the “Gate”. One of the building can be used completely as an outpatient clinics while the other can be used for offices. The design gives the building operator avery high level of flexibility which enable him to either use the upper floors of every building as offices while the lower floor will serve as clinical, Or to segregate the clinics in a separate building and gives higherprivacy to the other building.The Gate Buildings:The building comprises two buildings. Offices building and Clinical building, basically dividing the total buildable area between the two.The main entrance of every building will be facing the main intersection. The ground floor is fully utilized as a reception and coffee shops and partially retail. While the first floor and 8 typical floors will be used foreither offices or clinics. The sky canopy will connect the two building together to form the “Gate”. The canopy can be used as an entertainment floor for both customers, visitors and employees. It may containrestaurants, cafes, services, utilities and gymnasium.The roof of the sky canopy will have a roof garden and jogging track and solar panels.The sculptural articulation of a composite volumes and the adaptive skin texture results in a dynamic spatial experience. This applies for the building users as well as for those viewing it from far.The two buildings together and the flying canopy will generate a feeling of a highly recognisable landmark building and represent a moment of interest in the future skyline of the city.

 

Design Idea:

 

The main idea of the design philosophy is to create an iconic building that will appear as a gate for the whole complex of the project, a building that will attract public and visitors with a welcoming open arms.

 

To design a prestigious elegant design we started shaping the form from a simple and single box building then the box was cut into two equal triangles. The two triangular shapes converted into two towers
connected by a flying sky canopy. The form created a welcoming gate which will smoothly lead the visitors to the heart of the complex and the entire project.

The “Leaves” like texture emerges at the ground level functioning as a landscape element, creating a meditative garden on the top of parking podium. The continuous surface treatment moves upward to
become the intertwining building facade, finishing at the roof sky canopy garden where the residents can enjoy a panoramic view around Dubai and at the same time acting as a healer from the stress by
using the the jogging track.
